History of the ELVAS GIZ Association

Our story began in 2004, when auto dismantlers across Slovenia faced the threat of having to shut down their operations. Instead of each of us searching for solutions on our own, we joined forces and proved that there is strength in cooperation.

In 2006, we founded GIZ, which today brings together vehicle exhibition centers and gives them a voice at the national and European levels. 


Together, we have brought about legislative changes and created the conditions for development, technology, and digitalization. Today, we are a network of knowledge and experience that believes that only by working together can we build a sustainable future for our industry.
